Trip to Estes Park included a snowy journey up into Rocky Mountain National Park.

A couple of snow bunnies!!

We came up on a small herd of Elk. We must have seen 30-40 through the weekend. We also saw a beautiful red fox and several deer, Right in TOWN!!!

We're not quite sure what is going on here..mountain air?

We found a wild snow creature..maybe this is the abominable snowman....not sure I spelled that one right??

...or maybe this was him.....

Averee loves the animals. We got as close as 10 feet once...but we were in the car. Sugar REALLY wanted to get up close and personal.

And here is Averee's new wheels, a Pontiac G5 better known as the "Pumpkin" car.

  • Looks like you guys had a lot of fun! So it's winter there already? Here too, minus the snow.

  • Great pictures!! Thanks for sharing them with all of us. Love the snow. You have it good - you can go to the cold and enjoy and then come down to the warm!!! Beautiful scenery.(sp) Brings back memories.

  • I do remember Estes Park, I was just telling James about it. We can't wait until we can plan a trip out there with the kids and show them beautiful Colorado.
